Rajiv Nayan Choubey, a 1981 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation. At present, he is working in the Ministry of Power as Special Secretary.
He will be replacing V Somasundaran, who is an IAS officer of 1979 batch, Kerala cadre. He has been reshuffled and posted as Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
