Spanco Tele systems & BSNL may bag for the Railways call centre deal

Soon, the Indian railway Catering and Tourism Corporation is planning to manage for call centres. IRCTC has invited bids from the telecom IT firms for establishing the Railways call centres. According to resources, BSNL is providing the highest amount to the Railways for managing the call centre.

The contract is likely to be bagged by the Spanco Tele systems Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. These call centres will provide basic train enquiry services from anywhere in the country. User can use this service by paying at the low cost. But the operator will pay premium amount of charges for the value added services. Avaya, Midas communication and IBM is leading the first consortia, while Spanco Tele systems and BSNL is leading second one. CMC and Tata teleservices, Avaya and E2E Serwizsol Solutions Ltd is leading the third consortia.
