The Chennai Container Terminal, a private operator, has introduced electronic filing of Form 13 at the Chennai port in India.
Through the introduction of e-form 13, the CCT, a part of the Dubai-based DP World, has dispensed with the physical transfer of the form from one stakeholder to the other to comply with the documentation requirement for an export at CCT. The trials conducted on four container vessels were successful and the specific trade requirements have been incorporated in subsequent trials, the CCT said in a trade notice.
