e-Governance plan gets delayed in UP

The UP government’s plan to provide 26 services, such as birth and death certificates, income certificate, accepting applications for ration card and unemployment allowance , all under one roof has undergone a set-back. Already delayed by two years, its launch has now been extended from July 1 to August 1.
The July 1 deadline was set by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in April. The government is looking forward to solutions to make up for the delay.
