Good future of m-Governance in India

Governance is taking its initiative steps through mobile phones, m-Governance, which is already used in many countries. There are about 130 million subscribers in the India.

Governance is taking its initiative steps through mobile phones, m-Governance, which is already used in many countries. There are about 130 million subscribers in the India.


According to trial officer, now farmers can send SMS to the tehsil and get agriculture related information like prices of crop, weather reports etc. Health Ministry requested the department of telecom (DoT), to provide awareness about epidemic on mobile phones. Vikram Tiwathia, chief information officer of CII, CII is taking initiative step to provide e-Governance applications through the use of mobile communications.  The company is also working on disaster alert with the support of Microsoft.
