MoFA, Bahrain, goes hi-tech

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bahrain, has become the first ministry to offer e-Procurement services with more efficiency and reliability.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bahrain, has become the first ministry to offer e-Procurement services with more efficiency and reliability.

The ministry has also launched its new electronic website, which will allow citizens to access government services. Under this initiative, 28 important e-Government services have already been made available on the national e-Government portal and over the next three years about 167 most important services will be made available on-line. The main aim of the e-Government strategy is to achieve a visible improvement in service delivery to individuals and businesses while achieving productivity and efficiency for the public sector.
