Sify to Provide e-Portal for Municipal Coporation of Greater Mumbai

Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai signed a contract with Sify Technologies whereby Sify will provide an e-Portal for the municipality.

Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai signed a contract with Sify Technologies whereby Sify will provide an e-Portal for the municipality.

The Sify portal will act as a cyber cafe for the municipality which will allow Mumbai citizens to pay their water and property tax, shop renewals and establishment licenses, birth and death certificates as well as health licenses, and registeration of complaints on the portal itself.

Speaking on the tie – up Naresh Ajwani, President, consumer infrastructure and operations, Sify Technologies, said
“This partnership is aimed at making the lives of the citizens of greater Mumbai easier with convenient access to online services from a nearby e-Port. We hope this will be the first of many such partnerships to improve the lives of the citizens of the country.”
