India and Saudi Arabia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the water sector, marking another important milestone in the growing strategic partnership between the two countries. The agreement was signed by Dr. Suhel Khan, India’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and Eng. Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of Saudi Water Week, an international forum that brings together governments, experts and industry leaders to discuss sustainable water management and emerging technologies.
Fahad Suri, Consul General of India in Jeddah, was also present during the signing ceremony.

The Memorandum of Understanding aims to deepen bilateral cooperation across several areas related to water resources.
