Artificial Intelligence is increasingly shaping the way governments design, monitor, and deliver public services. In a state as diverse and dynamic as Rajasthan, where governance spans agriculture, healthcare, education, industry, and citizen services, AI offers an opportunity to move from process-led administration to predictive, data-driven decision-making focused on measurable outcomes.
Rajasthan’s AI strategy is aligned with the national vision of AI for All and the objectives of the IndiaAI Mission. The State is strengthening its digital foundations through enhanced compute infrastructure, upgraded data systems, and institutional capacity building to ensure that AI deployment is scalable, secure, and citizen-centric. Responsible AI principles—trust, transparency, accountability, fairness, and inclusivity— as articulated in the India AI Governance Guidelines, guide this transition.
The objective of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 is to deliberate on practical AI applications that deliver measurable public value. For Rajasthan, this translates into real-world deployments: AI-enabled investor facilitation through RajGPT integrated with RajNivesh; multilingual grievance registration through intelligent systems at Rajasthan Sampark 181; data-driven agricultural advisories via RajKisan Saathi; and AI-assisted tools strengthening healthcare diagnostics and school learning outcomes. These initiatives demonstrate how AI, when embedded within governance frameworks, enhances efficiency, accessibility, and responsiveness.
As the first global AI summit to be convened in the Global South, the platform carries a responsibility to focus on development priorities relevant to emerging economies. For states like Rajasthan, AI must bridge urban–rural divides, strengthen programme implementation, and improve service reliability at scale—while maintaining safeguards that protect citizen rights and public trust.
The India AI Impact Compendium, being released in collaboration with Elets Technomedia Pvt Ltd alongside MeitY and the IndiaAI Mission, serves as a knowledge resource documenting state-led innovations and governance use cases. By capturing implementation experiences and lessons learned, the Compendium contributes to crosslearning and the responsible scaling of AI initiatives across sectors.
Rajasthan’s AI journey reflects a clear conviction: when deployed with purpose, accountability, and institutional coordination, Artificial Intelligence becomes a catalyst for transparent, inclusive, and future-ready governance— ensuring that technological progress translates into tangible improvements in citizens’ lives.
