The Haryana Government has announced a major administrative reshuffle involving 19 IAS officers, resulting in new Deputy Commissioners being posted across Faridabad, Hisar, Yamunanagar and Kaithal, along with multiple high-level reassignments across departments.

Key District Appointments:

  • Ayush Sinha has taken over as Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad
  • Mahender Pal has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Hisar
  • Preeti has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Yamunanagar
  • Aparajita has been assigned the charge as Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal

The reshuffle also includes transfers and additional responsibilities for several senior IAS officers:

  • Phool Chand Meena has been given additional charge as CEO of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) while continuing as Commissioner and Secretary, Human Resources Department.

  • Arun Kumar Gupta has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary of the Urban Local Bodies Department.

  • Vijay Kumar Dahiya has been assigned additional charge as Commissioner/Secretary, Sports Department, in addition to his existing role in Animal Husbandry.

  • Amit Kumar Agarwal will hold an additional charge as Commissioner/Secretary of the Heritage & Tourism Department, alongside his current role in Information, Public Relations & Culture.

  • J Ganesan has been entrusted with additional responsibilities as Managing Director of HARTRON and Managing Director of Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL).

Along with the above officers, the transfer list also includes Ashok Kumar Meena, Pankaj, Pardeep Kumar, Parth Gupta, Sangeeta Tetarwal, Anish Yadav, Vikram Yadav, Pradeep Singh, and others handling key portfolios across State Transport, Personnel & Vigilance, Energy, Panchayats, and Urban Development.

The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening district-level administration, improving inter-departmental coordination and accelerating service delivery. With major departments and rapidly developing districts witnessing leadership changes, the government expects improved execution of flagship schemes and faster decision-making at both state and field levels.
