Tripura Transfers 15 IAS & TCS Officers; Deepak Kumar made Director, Industries & Commerce

In a major administrative overhaul, the Tripura Government has issued three notifications between 10 and 15 November 2025, announcing the transfer and posting of 15 IAS and TCS officers to reinforce governance and improve service delivery across Gomati, Dhalai, Sepahijala, South Tripura, Khowai and North Tripura. The orders, released by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department, come into immediate effect.


TCS Transfers Issued on 10 November

The first notification detailed the reassignment of four TCS officers. Hari Kishore Uchai was shifted from Ambassa to Karbook, Babul Malakar moved from Gonda Twisa to Panisagar, Subhash Debnath was posted to Gonda Twisa, and Joy Manik Bongshi was appointed Deputy Director, Kokborok & Other Minority Languages. The order was signed by Under Secretary Jai Datta at 4:05 PM.

Additional Postings the Same Day
A second notification announced the transfer of two senior TCS officers. Jayanta Bhattacharjee moved from DRDA Gomati to the Governor’s Secretariat, while Sanjit Debbarma was reassigned from Sepahijala to ADM & Collector (PPs), Gomati. The order was issued by Deputy Secretary Saurav Kumar Debbarma.

Large-Scale IAS–TCS Reshuffle on 15 November


The third notification, released on 15 November, marked one of the most extensive mid-month reshuffles. Key movements included IAS officer Chiranjeev Anand taking charge as Commissioner of Taxes; Amitabha Chakma moving to SDM Jampuijala; Deepak Kumar assuming the role of Director, Industries & Commerce with additional charge of MD, TIDC; and Gugulavath Sharath Nayak appointed CEO, Ayushman Bharat and State Mission Director, ABDM. Several TCS officers, including Gideon Molsom, Ashis Biswas and Swarup Paul, were also reassigned to key district and sub-divisional roles. The notification was issued by Under Secretary J. Datta.
