The Uttar Pradesh government has appointed Alok Kumar, a 1993-batch IAS officer of the UP cadre, as the new Chairman of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). Known for his integrity and commitment, Kumar currently holds the positions of Principal Secretary, MSME & Export Promotion, and Principal Secretary, Infrastructure & Industrial Development & NRI Department.
YEIDA is a key urban planning and infrastructure authority in Uttar Pradesh, responsible for driving industrial, commercial, and residential development along the Yamuna Expressway corridor. With projects like the Noida International Airport and integrated townships, YEIDA plays a pivotal role in strengthening connectivity, attracting investments, and fostering sustainable urbanization in the Delhi-NCR region.
