
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, focusing on India’s technological future powered by artificial intelligence (AI). The discussion underscored Microsoft’s commitment to fostering AI-driven solutions in India and deepening its strategic partnership with the nation.
Expressing gratitude on X after the meeting, Nadella thanked PM Modi for his visionary leadership and support, stating, “Excited to build on our commitment to making India AI-first and work together on our continued expansion in the country to ensure every Indian benefits from this AI platform shift.” PM Modi reciprocated by acknowledging Microsoft’s ambitious plans, describing the interaction as insightful and promising for India’s tech-driven growth.
Earlier, Nadella engaged with Telangana Chief Minister K. Revanth Reddy and his cabinet in Hyderabad. The discussions centred on Microsoft’s investments in the state and potential collaborations. With 10,000 professionals employed in Hyderabad and a 600 MW data centre in development, Microsoft has significantly contributed to the city’s tech ecosystem.

Chief Minister Reddy praised Microsoft for its transformative impact and highlighted the state’s vision to position Hyderabad as a global tech hub.
