Manoj Kumar Sahoo, a 2006-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Private Secretary to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Sahoo takes over from Arindam Dakua, who has been reassigned as Director of Municipal Administration and Ex-Officio Additional Secretary in the Housing and Urban Development Department.

In another development, IAS officer Ashok Kumar Kaluaram Meena, currently serving as Secretary of the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Secretary for the Department of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation.

Meanwhile, Pankaj Dixit, a 2011-batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre, has been elevated to the position of Director while continuing as the Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh. Dixit previously held this role at the Deputy Secretary level.

In Uttarakhand, senior IAS officer Raghav Langer, a 2009-batch officer from Jammu & Kashmir, has been promoted to the Super Time Scale (Secretary grade). Langer is among seven officers receiving this elevation and currently serves as Director in the Department of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation under the Ministry of Jal Shakti.

Senior IAS officer Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, a 1996-batch officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
