The Rajasthan government has announced tax concessions for people with outstanding house tax and urban development tax dues under the ‘Seva Setu Campaign-2026’. The campaign will run across urban local bodies from October 7 to October 16, giving taxpayers a one-time opportunity to clear their pending dues.

According to an order issued by Pratik Juikar, Director and Special Secretary, Local Self Government Department, taxpayers who pay their entire outstanding house tax in one go will receive a 50 per cent concession on the principal amount and a 100 per cent waiver of penalty.

The concession applies to residential and commercial properties, as well as plots and buildings. To qualify for the benefit, taxpayers must pay their entire outstanding house tax in a single payment.

The campaign also provides relief on outstanding urban development tax dues. For dues up to the 2025-26 financial year, taxpayers who make a one-time payment will receive a 100 per cent waiver of interest and penalty.

During the campaign period, urban local bodies will inform taxpayers about their outstanding dues and the amount they need to pay. They will also facilitate one-time payments to help taxpayers clear their pending tax liabilities.
The concessions have been granted under Section 107(4) of the Rajasthan Municipalities Act, 2009.
