ONGC Petro Additions Limited (OPaL), a subsidiary of ONGC, has appointed B H Vasudev Prasad as its Managing Director. He took charge of the position on September 6, 2026.
Prasad Brings Extensive Industry Experience
Prasad joins OPaL with extensive experience in large-scale project execution, technical operations and organisational leadership. His background spans several areas of the energy and petrochemical sector.
Before joining OPaL, he was serving as Executive Director (Projects) at Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL). During his tenure, he also handled responsibilities related to corporate strategy and marketing.
Wide-Ranging Management Expertise
Over his career, Prasad has held several senior management and board-level positions. His experience covers project management, corporate strategy, marketing, human resources, maintenance, design and engineering, project execution, business operations and corporate governance.
