The Centre has appointed Apoorva Dubey, a 2013-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Government of India, on central deputation.

Moves to Central Deputation

Before her central posting, Apoorva Dubey was serving as Director, State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) in Uttar Pradesh. During her tenure, she was associated with the implementation of urban development programmes and initiatives aimed at improving civic infrastructure and public services.
She will now take up her responsibilities in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, which works on policies and programmes related to safe drinking water access and sanitation across the country.

Over the years, Dubey has served in several field assignments in Uttar Pradesh, where she earned recognition for her focus on efficient governance and timely implementation of development projects.
