In a fresh set of administrative orders issued on Wednesday, the Centre announced several appointments, tenure extensions, repatriations, and empanelment decisions involving officers from different services.

Among the key appointments, Aryaka Akhoury (IAS: 2013: UP) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years.

Kranthi Kumar Pati (IAS: 2015: TN) has been appointed as Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary level) in LBSNAA, Mussoorie, also under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years.

In another important development, the tenure of Esha Srivastava (IFS: 2004), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has been extended for one month beyond 19.03.2026.

The government has also ordered the premature repatriation of Apparao Veerelli (IRSS: 1993), who was serving as CEO, Development & Welfare Board for Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNCs) under the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment. He has been sent back to his parent cadre on personal grounds.

In the international assignment category, the tenure of Parameswaran Iyer (Retd IAS: 1981: UP), Executive Director, World Bank Headquarters, Washington DC, USA, has been extended by three months.

The orders also include an important induction in the CBI. Ganga Ram Punia (IPS: 2013: HR) has been inducted as SP in CBI for a period of five years.

Three officers have been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) in different organisations for a period of three years each.

Sanjeev Kumar (IDAS: 2011) has been appointed as CVO, Geological Survey of India (GSI), Kolkata, under the Ministry of Mines.

Ajay Kumar (IOFS: 2015) has been appointed as CVO, National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED), Delhi under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

Vivek Jain (IDSE: 2006) has been appointed as CVO, India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC), Delhi, under the Ministry of Tourism.

In addition, Yogesh Gupta (IPS: 1993: KL) has been empanelled to hold DG Equivalent level post at the Centre.

These latest orders reflect the Centre’s ongoing administrative process of filling key positions, extending important tenures, and strengthening institutions through fresh leadership and vigilance appointments across departments and public bodies.
