India AI Impact Summit 2026

The Indian Army is moving towards becoming a data-centric, AI-enabled force, presenting a range of indigenous artificial intelligence solutions at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. The technologies demonstrated highlight the Army’s plan to integrate AI, machine learning and big data analytics into operational and strategic functions over the next few years.

Officials indicated that the transformation is part of a broader roadmap to embed advanced analytics and automation across military systems by 2027. Many of the showcased platforms have dual-use capabilities, meaning they can support defence missions while also addressing civilian needs such as disaster response, logistics management, education, and cybersecurity.

Among the solutions presented were systems such as AI Examiner for automated training evaluation, SAM-UN for geospatial situational awareness, and EKAM, a secure AI-as-a-Service platform designed for sensitive environments. Tools like PRAKSHEPAN for disaster prediction, Driver Fatigue Detection for transport safety, and AI-in-a-Box, a portable edge AI solution for remote deployments, underline the emphasis on practical, field-ready applications.

The Army also demonstrated platforms including XFace for secure identity verification, a Vehicle Tracking System for logistics optimisation, Nabh Drishti for real-time situational reporting, and advanced tools to detect deepfakes and counter cyber threats. These technologies are intended to strengthen operational readiness while supporting national digital security.
