The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has carried out another round of administrative reshuffle, transferring four IAS officers across key departments of the state.
As part of the new postings, Kumar Prashant (IAS, 2010 batch) has been appointed Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission. He will take over responsibilities related to information governance and transparency mechanisms in the state.
Rajesh Kumar II (IAS, 2009 batch), who was serving as Director General of Tourism, Uttar Pradesh, has been posted as Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh State Human Rights Commission. His move places him in charge of handling matters related to human rights oversight and grievance redressal.
Ved Pati Mishra (IAS, 2008 batch) has been appointed the new Director General of Tourism, Uttar Pradesh. He earlier served as Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission and will now oversee tourism promotion, infrastructure development and visitor facilitation initiatives in the state.
Meanwhile, Pranjal Yadav (IAS, 2006 batch) has been relieved of his responsibilities as Secretary of the Handloom and Textile Industry, Khadi and Village Industries, Establishment and Industrial Development Department. Further posting orders for him are awaited.
Officials said the reshuffle is part of routine administrative realignment aimed at improving departmental coordination and placing officers in roles that align with evolving governance priorities.

The latest transfers follow a recent round of IAS and IPS reshuffles in the state, reflecting the government’s continued focus on strengthening administrative efficiency and service delivery across departments.
