The Punjab government has announced new postings for two IAS officers of the 2020 batch, marking a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance across crucial sectors. The latest appointments involve Harsunhinder Pal Singh Brar and Rubinderjit Singh Brar, who have been assigned pivotal responsibilities in higher education and investment promotion.
Harsunhinder Pal Singh Brar has been appointed Director, Higher Education, Punjab, relieving Harpreet Singh Sudan of the additional charge. The move is intended to boost leadership, enhance policy execution, and improve governance across the state’s higher education ecosystem.

Rubinderjit Singh Brar has been named Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, with his services placed at the disposal of the Department of Investment Promotion. The appointments form part of a strategic administrative realignment aimed at ensuring efficient deployment of officer expertise in key departments.
