Zila Parishad Nashik launched the JJM Quality Monitoring App to track all related works, progress, quality of work, and contractors’ billing under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The App is a robust tool designed to monitor and manage the quality of services Zila Parishad delivers.
Key Points
• Currently, Zila Parishad Nashik has 1222 schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission spread across 15 talukas (Baglan, Chandwad, Deola, Dindori, Igatpuri, Kalyan, Nashik, Nandgaon, Niphad, Peth, Sinnar, Surgana, Trimbakeshwar, Malegaon, Yeola).
• These water supply schemes include sub-works such as sources (production wells), distribution lines, rising central, pumping machinery, and water storage tanks (ESR/GSR).
• A quality monitoring app has been introduced to execute and monitor these works efficiently with minimum staff and within the stipulated time frame.
JJM Quality Monitoring App
1. Mobile Application Launch: All concerned field officers and staff (DEs/JEs/PMCs) are allotted log-in IDs. For district-level monitoring, the Hon. CEO/EE is allotted log-in IDs.
2. Administrative and Technical Information: The app contains all administrative and technical information related to the particular scheme from the detailed project report (DPR).
3. Site Visits: During site visits, JEs/DEs/PMC engineers capture geotagged photographs and videos of the subworks and upload them to the JJM App.
4. Monitoring Progress: The CEO/EE can use the app to monitor the physical progress of the work and check the quality.
5. Contractor Billing: When a measurement book (MB) is recorded and a bill is raised, the subdivision uploads it to the app and proceeds further. The CEO/EE can check the status of bills, ensuring transparency and accountability.
6. Quality Assurance: At the Hon. EE/CEO level, they log in to their IDs to verify whether the work is being done on-site and to assess the quality of the work.
