Chennai, Tamil Nadu, January 10, 2025: The prestigious UMAGINE TN 2025, a global summit celebrating technology and innovation, opened its doors at the Chennai Trade Centre. Co-hosted by the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), this milestone event underscored Tamil Nadu’s commitment to job creation, innovation, and nurturing a thriving startup ecosystem. The summit witnessed an illustrious gathering, including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, HCL Technologies CEO Vijayakumar, and STPI Director General Arvind Kumar.

Showcasing Transformative Startups

Arvind Kumar inaugurated the STPI SAYUJ Community Startup Pavilion, spotlighting 40 pioneering startups pushing boundaries in AI, IoT, automation, and robotics. The pavilion became a hub for transformative solutions, reflecting STPI‘s steadfast dedication to innovation-led growth.

During a panel discussion on Tamil Nadu’s startup ecosystem, Kumar highlighted the role of STPI’s Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in equipping entrepreneurs with cutting-edge resources, mentorship, and infrastructure to scale their ventures. He emphasized how these initiatives develop a culture of collaboration, drive job creation, and empower startups to tackle critical global challenges.

Innovative Startups in the Spotlight

• Ignomagine Pvt Ltd, an STPI-supported startup, wowed audiences with breakthroughs in robotics and IoT, unveiling autonomous mobility solutions and automated storage systems.
• Benlycos, a standout from the STPI IoT OpenLab initiative, showcased telecom innovations poised to redefine connectivity and communication.
• xAGI, an AIC STPI startup, launched its Enterprise AI Agent Platform and Marketplace, offering AI-powered solutions to transform business operations.
