Vishal Kumar Dev

In a fresh bureacratic reshuffle, the Odisha government announced a minor reshuffle of senior IAS officers, impacting several critical administrative positions. According to a notification by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, Deoranjan Kumar Singh, a 1993-batch IAS officer and Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue & Disaster Management Department, will retain his additional role as Chairman of the Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC). This transfer effectively concludes the additional appointment of Vishal Kumar Dev in this position.

Further changes include the continuation of Vishal Kumar Dev, a 1996-batch IAS officer and Principal Secretary of the E & IT Department, as Principal Secretary of the Energy Department. The reshuffle also confirms Sanjay Kumar Singh, a 1997-batch IAS officer and Principal Secretary of the Rural Development Department, in his additional role in the Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department, leading to the termination of Vir Vikram Yadav’s additional assignment.
