Madhya Pradesh: Sanjay Dubey promoted to Additional Chief Secretary

Sanjay Dubey, a 1993 batch IAS officer, has been promoted to the post of Additional Chief Secretary following the retirement of Sanjay Bandopadhyay, former Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board. Dubey, who was already overseeing the General Administration Department, will continue to hold his current responsibilities while assuming the new role.


Principal Secretary Neeraj Mandloi, another senior official in line for promotion, will have to wait until November for his elevation to Additional Chief Secretary, pending the retirement of ACS Malay Srivastava.

The state administration is set for further reshuffling, with senior officers awaiting the appointment of a new Chief Secretary. Veera Rana, the current Chief Secretary, is scheduled to retire on September 30, making this a pivotal month for the Madhya Pradesh bureaucracy.
