Maharatna PSU Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has announced the extension of its partnership with Bangalore-based eMobility service provider IONAGE. The partnership aims to enhance the accessibility and convenience of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across India. IONAGE aggregates charging stations from various Charge Point Operators (CPOs), allowing users to access a vast network of EV chargers via a single platform, significantly simplifying the process for EV owners.
Building on the success of BPCL’s BPC eDrive Initiative, launched in February 2022, this extended partnership will integrate BPCL’s EV chargers into IONAGE’s platform, further boosting the ease of EV charging nationwide.
BPCL’s Business Head (Retail), Pardeep Goyal, emphasised the importance of customer convenience, stating, “We are pleased to extend our partnership with IONAGE. At BPCL, customer accessibility and convenience are paramount. This collaboration will allow customers to access BPCL chargers through IONAGE’s aggregation platform.”
