The Elets India AI Summit, organised by Elets Technomedia in collaboration with Elets eGov Magazine and Elets CIO, is all set to take place on 11-12 July 2024 at the Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel, Brigade Gateway, Bengaluru. This premier event, in partnership with the Department of Information Technology and Biotechnology, Government of Karnataka, and Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), aims to foster innovation and collaboration within India’s gowing AI ecosystem.

The event aligns with India’s AI Mission, focusing on building a robust AI framework that empowers both the public and private sectors to harness the full potential of artificial intelligence.

The summit will bring together over 400 participants, including thought leaders, innovators, industry experts, and policy-makers from across the country.  Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, share best practices, and explore potential collaborations to drive AI adoption and innovation in India.

Shri Priyank Kharge, Hon’ble Minister of IT, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, Government of Karnataka, will grace the summit as Chief Guest. Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao, Hon’ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka, will join as the Guest of Honour. 

 The Government of Karnataka is committed to driving tech-led innovations and development in with conducive policy framework and growth-friendlty environemnt across the region. Esteemed Programme Mentors, including Dr. Ekroop Caur, IAS, Secretary of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology Biotechnology and Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka, and Darshan H.V, IAS, Director and Managing Director of KITS, Government of Karnataka, will share their invaluable insights into the latest technological advancements and how the state is adapting to them.

With over 20 knowledge sessions and exclusive networking opportunities, day 1 will be dedicated to enterprises, while day 2 will focus on public sectors.

Day 1 – July 11, 2024 

The day one of the summit will feature a diverse lineup of sessions aimed at exploring the next frontier of  artificial intelligence across industries. The morning sessions will kick off with a dynamic panel discussion on “Innovation Imperative: Staying Ahead in the Generative AI Landscape,” where industry leaders will share insights on how generative AI drives innovation and resilience in business. Following this, Pooja Modi, VP – GenAI at Jio Haptik, will pesent exclusive insights on the future of enterprise automation,highlighting transformative trends and best practices. .

A Trilogue Chat titled “Fast-Track to Success: AI’s Role in Accelerating Product Development & Innovation” will delve into AI’s impact on product development with speakers including Amit Dixit, Chief Technology Officer, Zolo; Amitabh Saran, Founder & CEO, Altigreen and Shreehari AM, Director, Data & Analytics PwC India. 

In an exclusive partner presentation, Kirtikar Ojha, Sales & Marketing Head, L&T- Cloudfiniti will discuss AI-powered datacenters. 

In the afternoon, sessions will continue with a focus on adapting enterprises for the era of Gen AI, explored in the panel discussion “Adapting Enterprise for Gen AI: Transforming Traditional Data Strategies to Meet Modern Demands”. This will be followed by a technology presentation on security and governance by Praveen Patil Kulkarni, Country Manager, Security Risk & Governance, OpenText. 

The day will conclude with engaging discussions on cybersecurity, customer experience, and the future workforce, providing valuable insights into AI’s evolving role across different sectors.

Day 2 – July 12, 2024 

The second day of the power-packed summit will convene policy-makers and government officials to explore transformative applications of AI, and fortify governmental frameworks. 

In the session on Advancing Public Sector Innovation with AI, speakers like Arvind Kumar, Director General, STPI, and B Sundar, Special Secretary, Andhra Pradesh IT Deptartment, will discuss AI’s role in accelerating India’s digital transformation.

The Building Agile & Resilient Infrastructure panel will explore AI’s impact on cloud and data center evolution with experts such as Yeshwanth V Gurukar, Executive Director, Center for Smart Governance, Karnataka, and Amit Sharma, Secretary IT, Ladakh Administration.

Empowering Governance with AI Solutions will delve into AI’s benefits in citizen services delivery with speakers including Sameer Verma, Special Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Dr. BR Mamatha, Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps, Government of Karnataka; Dileesh Sasi, Chief Executive Officer , Center for eGovernance , Government of Karnataka, etc. 

The Global Capability Centers (GCCs) as Engines of Growth panel will feature insights on GCCs’ role in business growth and workforce optimisation with speakers like Uma Mahadevan, Additional Chief Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department & Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihoods Department, Government of Karnataka; Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner for Industrial Development, Government of Karnataka, and  Raymond Siva, Head of Digital Investment Office, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). 

Additionally, the day will include a Startup Session, featuring insightful discussions with Jitendra Vijay, Chief Executive Officer, MeitY Startup Hub, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India; Anand Sri Ganesh, CEO, NSRCEL, IIM Bangalorel, and Tanuj Bhojwani, Head of People+AI, EkStep Foundation.
