In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred 12 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and 8 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers on Tuesday. This move has resulted in changes in the positions of several district magistrates and senior police officers across the state.
