Uttar Pradesh government

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred 12 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and 8 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers on Tuesday. This move has resulted in changes in the positions of several district magistrates and senior police officers across the state.

Key IAS Transfers

  • Anuj Singh: Sitapur District Magistrate reassigned to Moradabad.
  • Abhishek Anand: Chitrakoot District Magistrate moved to Sitapur.
  • Durga Shakti Nagpal: Banda District Magistrate transferred to Lakhimpur Kheri.
  • Nagendra Pratap: Special Secretary, Ayush Department, appointed as Banda’s District Magistrate.
  • Shivasharanappa GN: Kanpur Municipal Commissioner, appointed as Chitrakoot’s District Magistrate.
  • Ajay Kumar Dwivedi: Special Secretary for the Agriculture Production Commissioner, appointed as Shravasti’s District Magistrate.
  • Madhusudan Hooghly: Additional State Project Director, named Kaushambi’s District Magistrate.
  • Manish Bansal: Sambhal District Magistrate transferred to Saharanpur.
  • Rajendra Pensia: Special Secretary of Urban Development, appointed as Sambhal’s District Magistrate.
  • Ashish Kumar: Vice Chairman of Saharanpur Development Authority, appointed as Hathras’s District Magistrate.
  • Medha Rupam: Additional Chief CEO of Greater Noida, appointed as Kasganj’s District Magistrate.

  • Vipin Tada: SSP of Saharanpur, now SSP of Meerut.
  • Rohit Singh Sajwan: SSP of Meerut, now SSP of Saharanpur.
  • Hemraj Meena: SSP of Moradabad, now SP of Azamgarh.
  • Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan: SSP of Bareilly, now SSP STF Lucknow.
  • Anurag Arya: SP of Azamgarh, now SSP of Bareilly.
  • Satpal: SP of Pratapgarh, now SSP of Moradabad.
  • Anil Kumar: SP of Chandauli, now SP of Pratapgarh.
  • Aditya Langhe: SP, Railway Agra, now SP of Chandauli.
