
In a significant administrative overhaul, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh orchestrated the transfer of 15 IAS officers, appointing five bureaucrats with backgrounds from esteemed institutions like IIM, IIT, and the London School of Economics (LSE) to key positions within the CM Secretariat.
Among the notable appointments, 2008 batch IAS officer Bharat Yadav was designated as the Secretary to CM Yadav, while Avanish Lavania, a 2009 batch IAS officer and the Managing Director of MP Road Development Corporation, assumed the role of Additional Secretary. Lavania boasts a B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT Delhi.
Furthermore, the CM appointed Chandrashekhar Walimbe, the Additional Secretary of Revenue and Controller of Government Printing and Stationery, a 2010 batch IAS officer, as an additional secretary in the CMO. Walimbe holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.

Additionally, Aditi Garg, a 2013 batch IAS officer serving as the Director of Health Services, and Anshul Gupta, a 2016 batch IAS officer and the Commissioner of Ujjain Municipal Corporation, were named Deputy Secretaries in the CMO. Garg holds a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics (LSE), while Gupta possesses an M.Tech in electrical engineering from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
