Amrapali Kata appointed MD Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited

In a recent development, Ms. Amrapali Kata, a 2010 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL), taking over full additional charge. Prior to this assignment, Ms. Kata served as the Joint Commissioner of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).


The decision to appoint Ms. Kata follows the resignation of the previous in-charge Managing Director of HGCL, BLN Reddy. The announcement came from HMDA Commissioner Danakishore, who issued the necessary orders to effect the change.

Amrapali Kata‘s new role entails the management and supervision of HGCL as its Managing Director. Moreover, she will assume responsibilities as the Outer Ring Road in-charge project director and special collector.

Notably, Ms. Kata will continue to hold her position as the Managing Director of the Musi Riverfront Authority while carrying out her duties as the Joint Commissioner of HMDA. Her expanded portfolio underscores the trust and confidence placed in her capabilities by the authorities.
