In a bid to encourage investments in the greenfield township of Ayodhya, the Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board convened a Hotelier Gathering on Monday. The event saw the active participation of hoteliers from both domestic and international hospitality businesses, with several attendees joining virtually.

During the event, a presentation highlighted the unique features and amenities of the Greenfield Township Ayodhya. The Additional Commissioner of Housing provided comprehensive details on the registration process for hotel plots within the Greenfield Township Ayodhya and addressed inquiries regarding investment opportunities.

The Greenfield Township Ayodhya project aims to establish a globally renowned township steeped in Vedic traditions, aligning with the Ayodhya Vision 2047. The objective is to create a modern, well-equipped city dedicated to Shri Ram, featuring modern infrastructure, temples, ashrams, dharamshalas, hotels, resorts, hospitals, parks, and entertainment facilities.

From a tourism perspective, this project is of great significance as it seeks to position Ayodhya as a global destination with a high-tech city identity that seamlessly integrates historical and religious importance with modern living conveniences. The crucial meeting with hoteliers in Ayodhya aims to bolster the hotel industry, anticipating substantial growth as the number of pilgrims visiting Ayodhya is expected to surge in the future. Currently, the industry has received approximately 90 applications from hoteliers, reflecting the enthusiasm and interest in the project.

Notably, the event featured the presence of Housing Ranvir Prasad, Additional Commissioner Neeraj Shukla, Ishaan Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Gupta, and Pallavi Mishra, esteemed hoteliers from India and abroad, along with other senior officials from the Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board.
