The Haryana government under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has enacted significant changes in its bureaucratic landscape. The reshuffling, which took immediate effect, involved the transfer and appointment of several key administrative officers, including one IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officer, one IRS (Indian Revenue Service) officer, and nine HCS (Haryana Civil Services) officers.
Lalit Kumar, a dedicated officer from the 2014 batch of the IAS, has been reassigned to the crucial position of Administrator (HQ) within the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, situated in Panchkula. This new role comes with a set of important responsibilities aimed at overseeing urban development and civic progress within the region.
Meanwhile, IRS officer Vivek Aggarwal has been entrusted with an expanded role, taking on the responsibilities of Director General for Skill Development and Industrial Training. In addition to this, he has been appointed as the Secretary to the Haryana Government in the Haryana Skill Development and Industrial Training Department. These appointments come in addition to his current duties, which include managing the Haryana Skill Development Mission and the Haryana Medical Services Corporation Ltd.

Among the HCS officers affected by this reshuffle, Jagdeep Singh has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Cooperative Sugar Mills located in Panipat. Nimal Nagar, another HCS officer, has been repositioned as the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) for Ganaur, while Alka Chaudhary has taken on the role of Joint Commissioner within the Municipal Corporation of NIT Faridabad. Lastly, Virender Singh has assumed the responsibilities of Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) for Siwani.

These changes reflect the government’s commitment to optimizing administrative efficiency and ensuring that officers with relevant expertise are placed in positions where they can contribute effectively to the development and progress of Haryana.
