9 IAS Officers Transferred in Karnataka, Shilpa Nag appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Chamarajanagar

In a major administrative restructuring, the Karnataka Government executed the transfer of nine IAS Officers on Monday.


The newly released transfer list reveals that Smt. Shilpa Nag, an IAS Officer from the 2014 batch, currently serving as RDPR Department Commissioner in Bengaluru, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Chamarajanagar. She will be replacing D.S. Ramesh, who was recently transferred.

Smt. Shilpa Nag, who previously held the position of Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner, assumed her duties as the Chamarajanagar DC earlier yesterday.

Among other significant transfers, Shri C. Satyabhama has been designated as the new Deputy Commissioner of Hassan, while Varnith Negi has been appointed as the CEO of Kodagu Zilla Panchayat. J. Manjunath will now serve as the Commissioner of the Department of Survey & Land Records, and H.V. Darshan has taken on the role of Director of IT and BT.
