Five IAS and DANICS officers transferred in Chandigarh

In a significant administrative development, the Chandigarh administration has announced the transfer of five officers, including four IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officers and one DANICS (Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Service) officer. This move aims to strengthen various departments and enhance governance in the union territory.

IAS Nitin Kumar Yadav has been appointed as the new Secretary of Industries and Tourism. With his extensive experience and expertise in the field, Mr. Yadav is expected to bring fresh perspectives and drive growth in these crucial sectors.

Another prominent IAS officer, Mr. Vinod P. Kavle, has been designated as the Special Secretary of Finance, Director of Treasury & Accounts, Planning & Statistic, and Local Audit Department. With his strong financial acumen and strategic planning skills, Mr. Kavle is anticipated to contribute significantly to the financial management and accountability of the Chandigarh administration.

IAS Purva Garg has assumed the role of Secretary of Personnel & Establishment. Her appointment is aimed at streamlining administrative procedures, ensuring effective personnel management, and promoting a conducive work environment.

IAS Rupesh Kumar has been entrusted with the responsibility of Secretary of the House Allotment Committee. With his meticulous approach and knowledge in urban planning, Mr. Kumar is expected to oversee the efficient allocation of housing resources in Chandigarh.

Furthermore, Mr. Akhil Kumar, a DANICS officer, has been appointed as the Special Secretary of Engineering. In this role, Mr. Kumar will focus on infrastructural development and maintenance, ensuring the highest standards of engineering excellence in the union territory.

The Chandigarh administration is optimistic that these administrative changes will result in improved public services, better coordination among departments, and enhanced efficiency in decision-making processes.
