The Yogi government, in its second stint, is taking forward its work of the first regime to make state-of-the-art bus stands which will offer improved and better facilities to bus passengers.

In order to develop bus stands with modern resources, the transport department is working on an action plan to develop 18 bus stands on the PPP model. This is an important step towards improving passenger amenities. The process of e-tendering for the construction of bus stands will be started soon.

In this regard, in view of the suggestions of the bidders, a proposal will be prepared and sent for the permission of the government soon. Tenders will be invited for this as soon as permission is received from the government. Kaushambi (Ghaziabad), Kanpur Central, Varanasi Cantt, Civil Lines (Prayagraj), Vibhutikhand Gomtinagar (Lucknow), Meerut, Transport Nagar (Agra), Idag (Agra), Agra Fort (Agra), Aligarh, Mathura (Old) on PPP model.

18 bus stands including Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Charbagh Bus Station, Zero Road Depot (Prayagraj), Amausi (Lucknow), Sahibabad, and Ayodhya will be developed. All these bus stands to be built on the PPP model will have high-level passenger facilities and will be made of quality.
