IPS Reshuffle in Punjab, Prabodh Kumar Named Spl. DGP, Intelligence

In a move to reshuffle the police lineup of the state, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led Government of Punjab, recently, issued orders to transfer and post four senior IPS officers with immediate effect.


Prabodh Kumar, an IPS officer of 1988-Batch, has been transferred and assigned the charge of Special Director General of Police (DGP), Intelligence.

S S Srivastava, the 1994-Batch IPS officer has been shifted and given the post of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Intelligence.

Amardeep Singh Rai, the 1994-Batch IPS officer will be taking over as ADGP, Traffic.


Gurpreet Kaur Deo, an IPS officer of 1993-Batch, has been transferred and appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Police Department.
