The governing body of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel. Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club scheme has been started in Chhattisgarh for the youth of 15 to 40 years of age, under which “Yuva Mitan Clubs” have been formed. Conservation of environment, cultural heritage and sports is being promoted through these clubs. Youth Mitan Clubs are being formed in all the Gram Panchayats and urban bodies of the state.

An order in this regard has been issued by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, Chhattisgarh Government. The governing body includes CM Bhupesh Baghel, who is the president, and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Umesh Patel, who is the vice-president. The members of the governing body include Panchayat and Rural Development Minister TS Singh Deo, Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr Shivkumar Dahriya, Lok Sabha MP Deepak Baij, Rajya Sabha MP Chhaya Verma, MLA Devendra Yadav, MLA Vinay Bhagat, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain and Additional Chief Secretary Subrat Sahoo. Sports and Youth Welfare Secretary will be the ex-officio member secretary.
