In a recent move, the Government of Bihar assigned additional charges to two IAS officers to further streamline the state’s administration on January 28, 2022.
Sanjeev Hans (IAS 1997-Batch) has been assigned the additional charge of Managing Director (MD), Bihar State Hydro-Electric Corporation Limited (BHPC) and Director, BREDA. Hans is presently holding the post of Principal Secretary, Energy Department with the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited, Patna.
S Siddharth (IAS 1991-Batch) serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Finance Department has been assigned the additional charges of ACS General Administration Department (GAD), ACS Public Grievances, Mission Director for Bihar Administrative Reform Mission Society, and Director General (DG) of Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD).
