Dr Srivari Chandrasekhar appointed as Secretary, Department of Science & Technology

The Government of India, on December 4, issued orders to appoint Dr Srivari Chandrasekhar to the post of Secretary for the Department of Science & Technology (DST).


As per the orders issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Dr Chandrasekhar will be serving the newly appointed charge for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes the post or till attaining the age of 60 years or until further orders from the government, whichever is the earliest.

In his current capacity, Dr Chandrasekhar is serving as Director, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IITC), Hyderabad.
