Isha Kalia, an IAS officer of 2009-Batch of Punjab cadre, assumes the post of Director General of School Education (DGSE) at the headquarters of the Education Department of Punjab government. Besides this, the Government of Punjab has also assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Punjab School Education Board, Punjab.
As she assumes the post, Isha appreciated the work of school heads, teachers, management and teachers as the state was ranked at the top in the National School Survey rankings.
