The Government of India, on May 7, issued official orders to assign the additional charge of Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, to Praveen Kumar. Kumar, an IAS 1987-Batch of Tamil Nadu, is presently posted as Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
The decision to assign the additional charge of Secretary Education and Literacy to Kumar has been taken as Anit Karwal (IAS 1988-Batch) is on leave.
