The Government of India recently issued orders for extension of central deputation tenure of Sanjay Awasthi, an Indian Revenue Service – Income Tax (IRS-IT) officer of 1989-Batch, as Joint Secretary, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. As per the order, Awasthi’s tenure has been extended for a period of one year from May 22, 2021.
