In a recent order from the Centre, Aramane Giridhar (IAS 1988-Batch) has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
Girdhar has been given the charge for the period of leave of Dr Guruprasad Mohapatra (IAS 1986-Batch). Currently, he is serving as Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
