Following the orders from the Government of Uttarakhand, the charge of Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has been taken away from Surendra Chandra Joshi. However, Joshi will continue to hold the charges of Additional Secretary, Social Welfare, Minority Welfare; Director, Directorate Tribal Welfare; Director, Uttarakhand Madarsa Education Board; Director, Minority Welfare; and Managing Director, Minority Welfare Corporation.
