Bihar Govt reshuffles charges of 8 IPS officers

The Government of Bihar, in an official order on February 21, gave approval to a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the state issuing transfer orders of eight IPS officers.

  1. Harpreet Kaur (IPS 2009-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Commandant, BMP-5, Patna. Kaur also gets the additional charge of Commandant, BMP-10, Patna.

  2. Meenu Kumari (IPS 2010-Batch) has been transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP), Monitoring Investigation Bureau, Patna.

  3. Nilesh Kumar (IPS 2010-Batch) has been given the charge of Superintendent of Police (Training), STF, Patna.


  4. Rashid Zaman (IPS 2010-Batch) will take over as Superintendent of Police (G.), Special Branch, Patna.

  5. Deepak Ranjan (IPS 2012-Batch) will be assuming the post of SP, Jahanabad.

  6. Rajeev Ranjan-2 (IPS 2012-Batch) has been appointed as SP (Operations), Special Task Force, Patna.

  7. Manoj Kumar Tiwari (IPS 2012-Batch) has been given the charge of Commandant, BMP-8, Begusarai and the additional charge of Commandant, Industrial Security Battalion, 2nd Bt. Begusarai.

  8. Satyanarayan Kumar (IPS 2012-Batch) has bee made Assistant Inspector Genera (IG) (Training), Patna.
