In a recent order released by the Government of India, Pradip Kumar Tripathi, an IAS officer of 1987-Batch of Jammu & Kashmir cadre, has been allotted the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Textiles till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders. Tripathi is currently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Steel.
