Giving nod to a major administrative reshuffle, the Government of Himachal Pradesh issued transfer and posting orders of 16 IAS officers on October 1.

1. Nisha Singh (IAS 1987-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Advisor (Health), Government of Himachal Pradesh at New Delhi. She also gets the charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.

2. Sanjay Gupta (IAS 1988-Batch) has been given the charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment.

   
   

3. RD Dhiman (IAS 1988-Batch) has been made Additional Chief Secretary-cum-FC (Revenue). Dhiman will also hold the additional charges of Additional Chief Secretary, Forests and Language, Art & Culture.

4. Kamlesh Kumar Pant (IAS 1993-Batch) will assume the charge of Principal Secretary, Labour & Employment and Transport. Pant also get the additional charges of FC, Appeals and Managing Director, Rapid Transport System. Moreover, Pant will also hold the charges of Principal Secretary, Environment, Science & Technology and Chairman, HP, State Pollution Control Board.

   
   

5. Ajay Sharma (IAS 2003-Batch) will take up the charge of Secretary, Ayurveda, Technical Education and Printing & Stationery.

6. S S Guleria (IAS 2006-Batch) has been posted as Secretary, Youth Services & Sports and has been given the additional charges of Divisional Commissioner, Kangra Division, Kangra District and Chairman, Appellate Tax Tribunal at Dharamshala.

7. Rakesh Kanwar (IAS 2007-Batch) has been appointed as Secretary to Governor with the additional charges of Special Secretary, Agriculture and State Project Director, Zero Budget Natural Farming. Kanwar will also hold the charges of Director, Public Finance & Public Enterprises-cum-Special Secretary (Finance) and Examiner, Local Audit Department.

8. Amit Kashyap (IAS 2008-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, HP Power Corporation Ltd. Kashyap also gets the additional charge of Managing Director, General Industries Corporations.

9. Capt (Retd.) J M Pathania (IAS 2008-Batch) has been appointed as Director (Personnel), HPSEB Ltd. He will also hold the additional charge of Director (Finance), HPSEB Ltd.

10. Rajesh Sharma (IAS 2008-Batch) has been made Registrar, Cooperative Societies.

11. Rakhil Kehlon (IAS 2008-Batch) has been posted as Special Secretary, Education and Housing. Kehlon has also been allotted the additional charge of Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare.

12. Chander Prakash Verma (IAS 2010-Batch) will assume the charge of Director, HP Institute of Public Administration, Shimla and will also hold the additional charges of Special Secretary/Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development, Special Secretary, Industries, and Commissioner Departmental Enquiries.

13. Sandeep Kumar (IAS 2010-Batch) has been made Managing Director, HRTC, Shimla.

14. Neeral Kumar (IAS 2013-Batch) has been appointed as Labour Commissioner-cum-Director of Employment.

15. Abid Hussain Sadiq (IAS 2014-Batch) will assume the charge of Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. Sadiq will also hold the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer-cum-Managing Director, Smart City Limited, Shimla.

16. Anupam Kashyap (IAS 2014-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Director, Transport.
