Centre reshuffles 14 IPS officers of Delhi Police

Following the order from the Central government, 14 IPS officers of Delhi Police have been transferred and reappointed in a major bureaucratic reshuffle on November 6, Friday.

  1. Shweta Chauhan (IPS 2010-Batch) has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Recruitment.

  2. Pranav Tayal (IPS 2011-Batch) has been made the Additional DCP-I, South-East District.

  3. Shanker Choudhary (IPS 2011-Batch) has been given the charge of Additional DCP-I, Dwarka District.

  4. Devesh Kumar Mahla (IPS 2012-Batch) has been posted as Additional DCP-I, North-East District.

  5. Surendra Choudhary (IPS 2013-Batch) will assume the charge of DCP, Traffic.

  6. MA Rizvi (IPS-SPS) has been transferred and posted as DCP, P&L.

  7. Kumar Gyanesh (IPS-SPS) will take up the charge of DCP, Supreme Court Security.

  8. RP Meena (DANIPS 1997-Batch) has been transferred and posted as DCP, Security.

  9. BL Suresh (DANIPS 2001-Batch) has been allotted the charge of DCP, 5th Battalion, Delhi Armed Police (DAP).

  10. Susheel Kumar Singh (DANIPS 2006-Batch) will assume the charge of Additional DCP-II, Rohini District.

  11. Ajay Pal Singh (DANIPS 2007-Batch) has been appointed Additional DCP, Traffic.

  12. Chepyala Anjitha (DANIPS 2007-Batch) has been given the charge of Additional DCP-II, New Delhi District.

  13. Sikandar Singh (DANIPS 2009-Batch) has been appointed as Additional DCP, Security.

  14. Shweta Singh Chauhan (DANIPS 2010-Batch) will take up the post of Additional DCP-II, Central District.
