Following a recent order from the Government of India, Ram Mohan Mishra who is currently serving as the Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has been transferred and posted as Secretary for Ministry of Women & Child Development.
With the assumption of his new charge, Mishra will replace Ajay Tirkey who is, at present, Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development. Tirkey has been posted to the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development. Further, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Sushil Kumar has been given the charge of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes replacing Ram Mohan Mishra.
