Odisha’s Bureaucratic Rejig: 10 IAS Officers Transferred

Amidst a major bureaucratic reshuffle announced by the Chief Minister Navin Pattanaik-led government has transferred 10 IAS officers across the state of Odisha.

Satyabrata Sahu (1991-Batch IAS) has been appointed as Principal Secretary Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME). Sahu is presently returning from central deputation. Sanjeev Kumar Mishra (1997-Batch IAS) who is presently serving as the Resident Commissioner (I/C), Government of Odisha, at New Delhi has been posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Industries Department. C Venugopal (1988-Batch IAS) has been allotted additional charge of Chief Resident Commissioner, Government of Odisha, at New Delhi.

Gopal Bandhu Satpathy has been posted as the Managing Director (MD), Odisha State Co-Operative bank. Debendra Kumar Jena has been transferred as Additional Secretary, Planning and Convergence Department. Somesh Kumar Upadhyay (2017-Batch IAS) has been appointed as Sub-Collector, Titlagarh district, Odisha. P Anvesha Reddy (2017-Batch IAS) has been given the charge as Sub Collector Badipada district, Odisha with an additional charge of Executive Officer of Badipada Municipality. Divakara TS (2017-Batch IAS) has been transferred as Sub-Collector Dharamgarh district, Odisha. He also holds the additional charge of Executive Officer, NAC, Dharamgarh. Patil Ashish Ishwar (2017-Batch IAS) has been posted as Sub-Collector Balasore district. Ishwar also holds the additional charge of Balasore Municipality.
